Cameron Schultz

Originally from a small town called Esko in Northern Minnesota, I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2022 with degrees in Neuroscience and Sociology. During my time as an undergraduate I conducted research investigating how the ability of mice to encode and retrieve olfactory associative memories changes with age and how alteration in the extracellular matrix of the olfactory cortex relates to these changes. I started working in the Venteicher Lab immediately following graduation and am looking forward to researching cancer by using our lab's cutting-edge methods. I am excited to see how work in our lab is able to better the wellbeing of others!

When I'm not in the lab, I enjoy spending time outdoors by running, hiking, or reading in the park. I also enjoy painting, finding new dishes to cook, and exploring places to eat in the Twin Cities.
